I know I am being a baby for feeling sad and whiny that less than 20% of the people I invited to my birthday party aren't coming because they have prom, or they have to work, or they are "tired" (...).
I might be unrealistic for thinking that my "friends" know better than to do some of the things they've been doing, forcing me to take drastic measures and effectively end our friendship(s).
I should probably stop complaining about all of this.

Despite acknowledging all of these things...I still feel really sad.
Happy (almost) birthday to me...*sniff*.
